Winter in Pitztal

Winter vacation on the roof of Tyrol. Snow is guaranteed in the Pitztal. Our vacation apartment is located at 1,400 meters above sea level. From there you start directly on the cross-country ski trail, the winter hiking trail or for ski tours. The Pitztal Glacier, with 3,440 m also called "The Roof of Tyrol", is 12 minutes away by car or the free ski bus. An insider tip is the adjacent Rifflsee ski area, which extends to over 2,800 meters and is also considered very snow-sure. Connoisseurs and sun worshippers are drawn to the Hochzeiger ski area, which is a 22-minute drive away and can also be reached by ski bus. Tip for romantics: An evening walk in the snow to the frozen Stillebacher See and the illuminated icefall - afterwards for a hot tea at the Biohotel Stillbach.
